Concert Preview with Adriane & Brad

Join the Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra for a deeply reflective program of music by Johann Sebastian Bach, led by concertmaster Adriane Post and Music Director Brad Hughley at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Titled "Incomprehensible Light," this concert centers on Bach’s profound cantatas inspired by the Canticle of Simeon—music that reflects on peace, release, and the quiet power of letting go. Featured on the program is Ich habe genug, one of Bach’s most beloved cantatas, sung by bass Jesse Blumberg, alongside the luminous Mit Fried und Freud and the expressive Concerto for Oboe and Violin in C minor, BWV 1060R.

In this preview, Adriane and Brad share what makes this music so timeless, how the program came together, and what they hope audiences experience—an opportunity to step out of daily life and into a moment of reflection, beauty, and calm.

Scheduled February 1, 2026 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Indianapolis. Learn more and join us for this extraordinary afternoon of Bach.
