Why Sponsor a Musician?
The Indianapolis Baroque Orchestra relies on ongoing support from its donors who graciously invest in the future of live music performance. As an integral part of the Indianapolis music-scene, IBO concertgoers expect and demand the highest quality music offered by world-class musicians. By sponsoring a Musician Chair for an entire season, donors can directly connect their passion and love of early music to a specific person.
Chair Sponsorships help cover musician fees. As a sponsor, you can chose a specific instrument, receive special program recognition, and have opportunities to meet and get to know the musician holding the chair you have sponsored. This is a unique opportunity to learn more about the IBO from the inside out while forming a closer connection between the players and the audience.
Who can Become a Chair Sponsor?
Individuals who donate $2,000 or more to IBO's Annual Fund are invited to sponsor a musician for the current season, subject to availability, at the following levels:
Orchestra Leader $5000
Principal Chairs $2500
Section Player $2000
Chairs can be designated in your name, your family’s name, in the name of a company, or in honor or memory of a loved one.
